The Louisiana Performance Excellence Award was initiated by a group of statewide quality professionals with the vision of providing recognition for organizations operating according to quality principles, and is administered by the Louisiana Quality Foundation (LQF). The LQF is a non-profit corporation of volunteers from various sectors of business, government, education, and manufacturing and services sectors who administer the award process.
